| Layout | Scroll down blog posts at the centre of the page, with blog archive to the left and search/subscribe options as well as a list of tags to the right. | Highlights the blog posts as the main content of the blog. Blog archive allows quick navigation and review of time stamps and number of blog posts. Search/subscribe options also facilitate the 'user-friendly' design of the blog, by making topics easy to access and giving the option of automatic updates. |
| Colours | Earth tones, brown, ochre, red | To evoke warm, homey interiors. |
| Background | Dark brown with world map template | We chose this background to show that we are looking at and seeking inspiration from interior designs from all around the world e.g. the history and culture of Italy. |
| Tags | e.g. home decor, outdoors, design fairs | For improved blog navigation, the list of tags on the right hand panel allows others to easily view the range of design topics we have discussed. |
